A long holiday weekend often makes us forget ourselves maintain the correct diet. Especially if we plan to go on vacation out of town and culinary tourism became the main destination. Fun tasting typical food in the city that we visit might make you forget the diet program.

Similarly, when a picnic or traveling by private car. Along the journey of course we often can not resist the urge to snack. Whether bread, potato chips, or crackers. Certainly this style of eating is a diet program disturb. No wonder many people complain stretchy body weight after the holidays.

Stay disciplined with your eating schedule hours. If you usually have lunch at 12, while traveling even try to stay true to the dining schedule. When you want a culinary tour, match with a meal.

Colmar, France’s Little Venice Town

Town of Colmar, a small town in France which was located about 20 km from the border of southern Germany. Number of old buildings is very beautiful, colorful to the eye. The city is often referred to by the nickname “Little Venice” or “La Petite Venise”.

Launch for the canal across the river in the middle of town is used as a means of transportation for tourists to view the surrounding scenery. Maybe this is what inspires the town of Colmar nickname as “Little Venice”, as well as the atmosphere in the city of Venice, Italy. Almost the same as Venice, tourists can hire a boat to tour the canal. One boat can carry eight tourists, with travel time approximately 20 minutes for 6 euros per person.

Like cities in Europe, Colmar also has some old church buildings that become an arena tour for tourists. The largest church is the Church of St. Martin, or what is often called the Cathedral Church.
